Keep aligners in their protective case when they are out of your mouth. Brush and floss your teeth as instructed, and contact us if you have questions about cleaning or fit.

The Invisalign Treatment Process

Initial Consultation
To begin the process, you’ll need to see Dr. Emmy for an Invisalign consultation. She will perform a comprehensive oral exam and determine if you’re a good candidate for treatment. We offer complimentary Invisalign consultations at our office.

First Set of Aligners
If you’re approved, Dr. Emmy will use your scans to plan the next steps and arrange your aligners. At your fitting, we will check their fit, explain how to use them, and confirm your review schedule.

Wearing Your Aligners
Wear your aligners as directed, usually 20–22 hours each day. Remove them for meals and cleaning. Change to the next set on the schedule Dr. Emmy gives you, and attend your progress reviews.

Treatment Completion
‍At the end of active treatment, we review your tooth positions and discuss retainers. Retainers help maintain the changes made during treatment. Follow the wear and care schedule recommended for you.
